David Jenkins Named Best Financial Consultant

Lufkin, TX – We’re proud to announce that VeraBank’s David Jenkins was named Best Financial Consultant in the 2023 Lufkin Daily News Reader’s Choice Awards.

Open to Angelina County businesses only, the contest consisted of six categories, one of which included the Best People – Financial Consultant category where David was among 48 finalists nominated for voting throughout May. The complete list of winners was announced in The Lufkin Daily News’ annual Best of Lufkin section on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

David attended Stephen F. Austin where he pursued a degree in business management. His banking career began in 2012 and he joined VeraBank in 2015. He has held various positions throughout his tenure, including Assistant Branch Manager and Branch Manager. Outside of the bank, David enjoys spending time outdoors with his five-year-old son.
