What is a digital wallet and how do I add my debit card to one?

A digital wallet is a software application that stores your payment information and allows you to make purchases right from your mobile device, without using your debit card. To add your VeraBank debit card to a digital wallet, download a digital wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay), enter your card details and follow the on-screen instructions to verify your bank information.

What happens if my debit card is lost or stolen?

In the event your debit card is ever lost or stolen, contact us immediately. You can connect with us using the card management feature in Online Banking or your Mobile App – call us at 903-657-8521 or 877-566-2621 – or visit a branch.

What is EMV technology and how does it protect me from fraud?

EMV uses chip-based authentication to encrypt data. It also uses a unique transaction code for each purchase, making it exceedingly difficult for cybercriminals to replicate.

Where can I make purchases using my VeraBank debit card?

Everywhere Visa® is accepted.

How does my VeraBank debit card work?

A VeraBank debit card is synced with your VeraBank checking account. When you make purchases, funds are debited straight from your VeraBank checking account.

What if my current card is about to expire?

Order a new card by visiting a VeraBank branch near you or call 903-657-8521 or 877-566-2621. Note: Your debit card is good through the month of expiration. You should receive your replacement card mid-month.

How do I enroll in CardSwap?

Log in to your Online Mobile or Mobile App. Select “CardSwap” – click “Get Started” – and select the services you want to update. Enter your new card information and verify your card.
